2017 Rocky Mountain Regional Legal Writing Conference

Welcome to the 2017 Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Conference hosted by the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. The conference will be held on Friday afternoon, March 10, and Saturday all day, March 11, 2017. Anyone who administers or teaches in a legal writing program is invited to attend this two-day conference. We welcome both full-time and part-time legal writing faculty. There will be no conference fee. The deadline for registration is Friday, February 17.

The new Beus Center for Law and Society that houses the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law opened in June 2016. It is located at 111 E. Taylor Street, Phoenix, Arizona, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The $129 million LEED Gold facility is 268,000 square feet and features a variety of instructional spaces including a large lecture hall, 18 classrooms, a moot courtroom, and a law library. The ground of floor of the BCLS building has an outdoor walkway that flows through the middle, from which registrants can access shopping and a bookstore on site.
