Navajo Nation Law 2015 CLE Conference

Friday, October 23, 2015 / 8:00 a.m. –  5:15 p.m.  (Check-In 7:30 a.m.)
Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University / Armstrong Hall / Great Hall

This conference will offer a survey of legal issues in family law, health law, ethics, housing, labor, Navajo Local Governance Act, Navajo Legislative and Judicial update, Navajo law update, Navajo Fundamental Law and ethical issues in government.  It is ideal training for tribal court advocates, tribal court practitioners, tribal court prosecutors, tribal court defenders, tribal council members, Indian law attorneys and attorneys practicing on and near the Navajo Nation Reservation, tribal liaisons, government legislators, Navajo Nation Bar members, law students, as well as teachers/professors and students of American Indian studies.

  • Navajo Nation Bar Association has approved this conference for 8 NNBA credits, including 2 Navajo Ethics credits.
  • New Mexico MCLE has approved this conference for 5 general credits and 1 Ethics credit.
  • State Bar of Arizona does not approve CLE activities however this activity may qualify for up to 8 credit hours, including 2 credit hours for Professional Responsibility.
  • This event will qualify for 8 MCLE for California, including 1 Legal Ethics Credit

Conference Rates:

$ 200.00 – Early Registration & payment required by 10/02 (5 p.m.)
$ 250.00 – Regular Registration & payment required by 10/20 (5 p.m.)
$ 275.00 – Walk-In/Onsite Registration 10/23  at 8 a.m.   (materials upon availability)
