Program eligible for up to 5.5 CLE hours

Drug pricing and off-label marketing of pharmaceuticals are two related issues that have recently erupted into nation-wide public attention and controversy, generating a wide range of proposed policies and approaches.  Both issues raise fundamental tensions between the role of markets and government regulation in ensuring both innovative and affordable health care choices.  This conference will feature a balanced program of top national experts representing diverse perspectives who will lead a discussion with the conference participants to identify areas of potential common ground, and to clarify and sharpen the differences that do exist in order to help focus the debate on these important issues.

Who should attend? Health care professionals, policymakers, patients, lawyers, journalists, students, and anyone with an interest in our health care system.

*The State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement. This activity may qualify for up to 7 hours toward your annual CLE requirement for the State Bar of Arizona.
